On Saturday, September 18th at 10am, we will be hosting a 2 hour gathering for those interested in helping us cut fabric. Soaring Eagles Ministry will be handing out fabric squares “as a reminder to people that they received prayer and that God was listening as they made their requests to Him. It will build their faith and continue to remind them that God loves them.”

In an effort to support the outreach Soaring Eagles will be conducting in Mexico in October, we hope to cut and gather as many of these fabric squares as we can to help them reach their desired goal of 10,0000 clothes for distribution.

All are welcomed to come and participate in the fabric cutting. There will be some additional cutting tools available but feel free to bring your preferred scissor or cutting tool of choice.

The video you can follow from the link in this post is a recent word shared through Bob Jones at MorningStar discussing the past three years and what is distinctive about 2011 beginning on September 10 of this year. The video clip runs approximately 11 minutes and encourages us to expect even greater change as we enter the year of the Lion.

“In this video, Bob Jones brings a timely prophetic word for the church that, “now is the time to keep faith and not quit, this is the year that the lion will begin roaring in the earth and bring authority like we’ve never seen before.”

In Isaiah 22 the keys of the Kingdom are spoken of but as Bob shares in this word, it’s also about the revelation of the keys of the Kingdom within us are going to be opened in our lives.

These meetings will focus on entering into the deeper things of the Spirit and, from that place, releasing healing, in all its forms, to anyone who has need. In this hour it has never been more important to be living from the presence of God (ie. living in the Spirit and by the Spirit – Gal. 5:25) and free from the works of the flesh for as Paul declares in Gal. 6:8 “For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life [life without beginning or end; unchanging, perpetual, eternal]”. We’ve heard of the need to bring heaven to earth, but we must first learn how to operate in the heavenly realm to release those things into the earth … which is every Christian’s responsibility as Heaven’s ambassadors (2Cor. 5:17-20)

2 Cor 5:17-21

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. (NKJV)

We are entering the most exciting days in all human history. For us as believers we must be prepared to usher in the kingdom of God; wherever we are and whenever we’re called. I am believing the Lord will impart to us the experiential understanding and tools we need for the times we’re living in during these meetings. As ambassadors for Christ we must move in the anointing of heaven in order to establish His kingdom here in our community. Jesus has already paved the way for us by His cross. We just need to walk the path He has prepared, operating in and being led by the Holy Spirit to accomplish all He has for us in this hour. Our future is now.

This admonition was submitted by Shirley Landspurg for all of us who are desiring to move forward in the power and the presence of God.

When I read this Psalm in the King James, it didn’t ‘light up’, but reading it in the Amplified, it is a message for the people of the Kingdom:

Ps. 84: 4-7:

“Blessed are those who dwell in Your house and Your Presence;

they will be singing Your praises all the day long.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in You;

in whose heart are the highways (high ways) TO ZION.

Passing through the valley of weeping, they MAKE it a place of springs;

the early rain also FILLS (the pools) WITH BLESSINGS.

They go from strength to strength,

increasing in victorious power;

each of them appears before God in Zion.”

The valleys of weeping are not OUR valleys — they are the valleys that those who don’t know the Lord or who are being overwhelmed by the difficulties of life — as WE pass through those valleys, we make it a place of springs ( refreshing) – and the Lord fills it with blessings.

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.” – Proverbs 13:12

Many are hurting these days. Many are wondering whether things are going to get better any time soon. Many are seeking answers but are only finding disillusion and hopelessness. When Israel found their backs up against a wall (literally) being trapped between Pharaoh’s army and the Red Sea, God moved powerfully by parting the waters to allow the nation of Israel to escape certain death. Esther, when she became aware that her people, the nation of Israel, were about to be annihilated chose to risk her life by presenting herself before the king seeking his favor and grace. I believe many today are faced with the same choice, retreat into bondage and spiritual death by allowing the systems of this world to dictate their life and their future … or … choosing to establish their “beachhead,” the place from which they refuse to retreat, and determine they will move forward into their destiny because their focus (hope) will not be determined by the world’s systems but rather by God and His kingdom.

The term “hope deferred” in essence means “an ever-changing promise of a future reality or outcome.” This is the world we live in. Confusion is everywhere breeding greater and greater levels of division among the people. Where vision is uncertain, “di”-vision takes hold. Uncertainty is everywhere and in many ways is the basis for the fear, doubt, and unbelief that is so prevalent in our society (and in the church) today. However, when we establish our lives (focus our vision) on that which is eternal, unchanging, just, and righteous then we have a firm foundation from which to build the lives we were created and destined to fulfill. It is surprising to me how many would rather put their trust in an environment that is constantly changing than in one that is certain and established. Maybe the answer lies in the old adage, “It’s better to live with the devil you do know, than the “devil” you don’t know,” or in other words living in the tyranny of the familiar. If this is the case, then I have to ask, how many in the body of Christ really know God. How many can say they know know Him to the degree that the know His ways, and are not simply familiar with some facts about Him. We will know when the scripture above becomes our life. As our desire for Him continues to grow and build to the point where we are no longer feeding from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil but where we are only feeding from the Tree of Life.

So often in our desire to see our community impacted with the love of God we face the challenge of what takes in order for lasting change to remain. Recently, I had a brief audio message sent to me that shared wonderful insights as to how we might better experience those types of outcomes. As we host various ministries in our cities and region we are in a direct sense inviting an impartation from the Lord into the area. We can do much to improve the fruitfulness of such important meetings.

Covering the heavens – where it all happens behind the scenes, this is the intercessors place of greatest interaction between heaven and earth. Asking for the Lord to prepare the way for what He desires to bring into the lives of the people that will be present. Praying for a covering of the Blood of Jesus to wash the airways and peoples hearts.

Covering the people – that reside in that region as well as those who will attend from other locations. Asking for the release of faith to receive what the Lord has for those attending will ease their ability to engage heaven and carry the seed of God’s purpose for the meetings.

Covering the leadership – for the specific gathering as well as those in the region increases the lasting fruit that should remain long after the impartation and encounter from the meetings. The mindsets that are open to what the Lord is offering to promote the Kingdom’s expansion is often held at the gateway of leaderships mindsets. They become a gateway that allows or dis-allows the flow of revelation that can bring a region further into the revelation of Jesus Christ and the release of the Kingdom.

Covering the speakers – that they would be free of judgments and the offenses that come against them so that the hearers are not blocked from being able to hear beyond the limiting beliefs and attitudes of others. Allowing them to minister out of a place of rest will increase the flow of the Anointing and increase the opportunity for growth in the region.

Praying rest over the participants as well as leadership and speakers is essential to releasing the maximum deposit of Heaven.

In the parable of the sower (Matt. 13:3-9) we find the sower sowing seeds on 4 different types of ground; the wayside, stony places, among thorns & thistles, and on good ground. The seed is described as the word of the kingdom and the ground is our heart. The Lord gives the interpretation to this parable in Matt. 13:18-23:

18 “Therefore hear the parable of the sower: 19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. 20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. 22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” NKJV

No mention is given in this passage in Matt. 13 as to who the sower is and what type of seeds are being sown. I don’t think Jesus would just throw seeds around willy-nilly. And just as unlikely, I don’t believe Satan would waste an opportunity to sow his seed in the most effective place to do the greatest harm. Therefore, I can only assume the sower is one of us. Which brings us to the question of the type of seed being sown.

There are basically two categories of seed. Seed that is of the world (i.e. Good/Bad seed) and seed that is eternal. “Worldly” seed is carnal and fleshly by nature. It comes from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. This seed can take root, germinate and grow into something the world would look upon as being “good” however it has no value or worth to the kingdom of God because it is fleshly and carnal by nature and can only produce after its own kind. However, the eternal seed is sown from the Spirit of God and when it has germinated and grown produces fruit that remains for the purposes of advancing the kingdom of heaven.

So what fruit does the eternal seed produce? First, it brings forth the Fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control). It also produces faith, hope and belief. Another product of this seed is prosperity (which requires stewardship) and kingdom resources (e.g. power, revelation, healing, wisdom, etc.). Finally, eternal seed releases God’s word (His promises). Is. 55:11 declares the following:

Isa 55:11
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

God spoke existence into being. When He speaks His eternal seed goes forth and seeks fertile ground from which to grow and manifest. He is constantly looking for fertile soil (hearts prepared to receive His word) for His word to germinate and come forth. However, we must be careful to sow His eternal word in our hearts and not the seeds of the world. Galatians 6:7-9 speaks directly to this issue:

Gal 6:7-9

7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
NKJV

Notice Paul’s final admonition in the scripture above. If we do not lose heart and we continue to move forward in faith, trusting God that “He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” As sowers, we can never give up or give in to the world or the plans of the enemy. Our focus and our faith must continuously be directed toward the Lord believing that His promises are yes, and amen.

Lastly, what will our sowing bring? It depends on 4 things.

1. Depends on the type of seed planted. (i.e. “good” / “bad” or “eternal”)

2. Depends upon the quality of the soil (our heart condition) the seed is planted in.

3. Depends upon the effort put forth to cultivate the soil after the seed has been planted. (e.g. fertilization, watering, weeding, etc.)

4. Depends upon our expectations for a harvest (Believing faith / Expectant Hope) - Heb. 11:1, 11:6

In this season, sowing seed is not enough. We must be aware of the type of seed we are sowing, even if it appears to be “good” seed. As we sow into the kingdom of heaven we cannot stop there. We must continuously cultivate the ground (our hearts) around that seed to make sure it grows into maturity and fruitfulness. Much darkness and evil seem to be in the world today, however God has a plan to bring forth His eternal word in such as way as to provide a harvest of incredible fruit for the world as a testimony of His greatness. It’s time to sow our seeds.

This morning a number of us gathered at the church for a time of prayer and intercession. What a wonderful time with the Lord. The Lord revealed number of things He wanted broken off the church and His people and a number of things He desired to be declared over the church and this region. He reminded us of past promises that have been spoken over LifeWay and encouraged us to declare them manifest in this hour from this place. One of the things He has us focus on was His joy.

Ps 16:11

11 You will show me the path of life;

In Your presence is fullness of joy;

At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Neh 8:10

the joy of the Lord is your strength.

As believers our joy surpasses temporal life and enters into the realm of His kingdom and His presence. Healing, deliverance, reconciliation, and power all emanate from His joy. Though we may be walking through tough times we can find comfort in the words of James who said:

James 1:2-5

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

We are all going through the process of being transformed into His image. All of us will face various trials along the way. Our joy comes from the understanding that as we experience these trials we know that He is maturing us, perfecting us, polishing us into a clearer image of Himself. As we move through this process we become less and less like the world and more and more like Him and we begin to realize those things which are important and those things which are not. As we keep our gaze upon Him He will lead us into all truth and our perception of “reality” will become sharper and sharper. He is our tower and our strong shield. In Him we can take comfort and rejoice that He will show us the path of life and that in His presence is fullness of joy.

As an apostolic center with a healing mandate LifeWay will expand its capacity to bring Christ’s healing to everyone who has need in mind, body, soul and spirit. Through the power of the Holy Spirit and the truth of God’s word we expect God to move powerfully through us to transform lives daily in this region. Isaiah 61 is our prophetic destiny as we move forward. We expect to see many set free from the bondage of this life to enter into the freedom of Jesus Christ and His kingdom. We are expecting weekly testimonies of lives being changed, families being restored, businesses prospering, and cities being transformed by the power of His grace. We are living in exciting times. As we look upon the land from heaven’s perspective we see the harvest is great and plentiful for those who will enter in by faith. Let us set our hope squarely on Jesus and jump in the deep end!
