At LifeWay, our Sunday morning worship service is dedicated only to one thing ... worshipping Jesus as He manifests His presence in power for the purpose of releasing His kingdom through us to establish His presence in us, in our region and beyond.
Our gatherings may include spontaneous songs, prayers, intercession, prophetic words, healing ministry, etc., calling everyone to become participants. This atmosphere creates a place where God is free to speak in the midst of the meeting engaging us to become interactive with Him for His purposes to the extent we enter into Paul's apostolic prayer to the church found in Eph. 1:17-19:
"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe ..."
This is the purpose of our Sunday services, to enter into the exceeding greatness of His power by coming before Him to worship and glorify Him in spirit and in truth. To release freedom and hope (the kingdom of God) to everyone in need.
